Two Saturdays ago, aides to the wife of the Minister of Transportation Dame Judith Amaechi, had a little feud with airline officials at the door of an Air Peace flight, after the airline door was shut against Judith Amaechi, due to check-in delay at the Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa.
Due to this, the management of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), at the airport has reorganized the security operations at the protocol lounge, as strict security measures have been put in place to checkmate unwanted disagreement among external security aides.
Security aides, police, military and the DSS Operatives have been prevented from entering the VIP/Protocol gate with arms, however only the protocol person and the personal assistant to VIP's will be allowed beyond the VIP/Protocol gate.
This new development has ensured that armed security operatives along with their operational vehicles, are now kept outside the VIP lounge gate with their arms.
