The nomination team included DJ's, Music Bloggers, among other media personalities which were: Isaac Utere, Churchill Eneh, Jojo Falani, Ibinabo Amakiri, Goodluck Azunwena among others.
Top 5 nominees were chosen in different categories to compete via a voting process from the public, which will determine the winners in each category.
The Galaxy Music Awards 2018 is billed to hold at Hotel Presidential, Port Harcourt on the 2nd of December 2018.
