Police will arrest Shatta Wale over threats to Wizkid, Patoranking, and Timaya

Shatta Wale could be in trouble, as the Ghanaian Police force have promised to have Ghanaian singer Shatta Wale investigated over his actions in a video in which he threatened three Nigerian stars Wizkid, Patoranking, and Timaya.

The Ghanaian Police Affairs Director ACP David Eklu made this known in an interview with Hitz FM where he noted that the singer’s threats call for an investigation, as it could be more than mere words or a made-up P.R. stunt. The ACP thought it wise to investigate Shatta despite the fact that he was fighting what Ghanaians deem a noble course.

The statement made by ACP Davido Ekulu implies that Shatta Wale might have run into trouble with the law, following the manner with which he sent a warning to Patoranking, Timaya, and Wizkid whose show he said he will disrupt in Ghana in December this year. Making the Ghana Police Force’s plans for Shatta known, the ACP said;

“If you fire a gun without lawful and necessary reasons, it is an offense. I have seen the video. I don’t know the circumstance under which the video was shot. For all we know, it could have been tailored to create an impression.”
