Magnus Abe the Governorship hopeful for
Rivers State on the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform and the Senator
representing Rivers South-East at the National Assembly, made a revelation
recently at a coronation ceremony that Rivers State needs to be
anchored on who has more ideas.
Abe made this statement at the
coronation of Eze Ekaki S. Ekaki, the Traditional ruler of Ula-Okobo community
in Ahoada-West Local Government Area.
He revealed that if more energy is
channeled to idea creation instead of violence promotion, meaningful progress
will be achieved in the state.
He stressed that Rives State needs men
of that have a clear sense of direction to lead Rivers State to the limelight
and take it away from been known as a state of violence which is most times
portrayed by the media.
Contrary to some claims, he stated that
he does not arm youths to incite violence, and revealed that he is a victim of
violence in the state.
He closed his address by advising the
king to please God instead of men, and he should stand for the truth at all
times regardless of what men will say, because God is just.
